:Mission
The mission of the Program of Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) is to provide excellence in clinical laboratory science education through up-to-date teaching, research and service development.
:Goals and Outcomes:
The MLS Program goals and outcomes are to produce graduates with an honor Bachelor of Science degree in clinical laboratory sciences that are:
A. Capable to apply advanced knowledge and skills to the practice of clinical laboratory sciences.
B. Qualified to work at the bench as a generalist in all areas of the laboratory.
C. Capable of making decisions and problem solving.
D. Candidates for supervisory and management positions in the future.
E. Well balanced in they’re background of basic sciences, general education and clinical laboratory knowledge.
F. Professional in their conduct and dedicated to their role in health care.
G. Exhibiting an understanding of laboratory management issues such as human resources, finance, accreditation, quality assurance, and the professional, legal and ethical boundaries in meeting the healthcare needs of the clients.
h. Eligible to pursue for higher postgraduate degrees.
Vision:
Through an implementation of robust quality assurance regime, the International College of Science and Technology hopes to obtain in four years quality certificates from ISO and other regional and international accreditation institutions.
Following inception of its programs the International College of Science and Technology would hope to obtain within ten years to become a model of quality for Sudanese higher education institutions, regarding its capabilities to satisfy the needs of the Sudanese civil service and the society at large and the needs of the services and industrial labour markets.

Provide modernized, relevant and transformable academic programs which satisfy the needs of our local, national and global communities.
Reach international levels in standards while maintaining local values and culture.
Create an advanced educational and research environment for our students and researchers.
Promote teaching facilities to the latest technical standards (libraries, laboratories…etc).
Recruit the best professors available in the labour market particularly from retired and repatriated Sudanese professors.
Help establish and finance technology incubators to avail jobs for talented students to run their own entrepreneur companies before launching their enterprises in the broad technology investment market.
Build an educational/cultural bridge with equivalent regional and international institutions.
The International College of Science and Technology administration shall conduct continuous evaluation for all components of the teaching-learning process including evaluation of the academic programs, the teachers and students performance. Students shall be asked to fill in staff evaluation questionnaires (that are both valid and reliable) for every course in each semester.
